    Item Exchange — swap an item on a paid sale in one step

    You can now exchange an item on an already-paid sale: return the original (back to stock, with serial numbers reversed), add a replacement, and settle only the price difference. The original sale and invoice stay intact, with a linked credit note, a new invoice, and a full change-history timeline. Cashiers can request an exchange and a manager approves it from their account or with a security PIN right on the cashier's screen.
