WhatsApp updates
A shop connects its own WhatsApp Business number and Fixmo sends repair updates, receipts, documents and refund confirmations from it. Messages are sent per stage according to switches you set, and every message is kept with its delivery state.
WhatsApp requires Pro or Business. It is not available on Free.
What it does
Email gets ignored and phone calls take a person. In most of the world, WhatsApp is where a customer will actually see the message.
The number is yours, not a shared one. Messages arrive from your shop's own WhatsApp Business account with your display name.
You choose which stages send. A shop that wants only the ready-for-pickup message sends only that one.
Messages are also sent for sale receipts, documents and refunds, not just repair stages.
Every message is kept, along with whether it was sent, delivered, read or failed, and the reason if it failed. Templates carry their own approval state from Meta, including a rejection reason when one is refused.

Is WhatsApp available on the Free plan?
No. It requires Pro or Business.
Do messages come from a Fixmo number?

What if a message fails?
The failure is recorded with the reason from WhatsApp, so it is visible rather than silent.
Do I need a developer to set it up?
No. The connection runs through Meta's embedded signup inside Fixmo.
