Quotations
A quotation carries a valid-until date and can be sent to the customer as a link. They approve or reject it themselves, and their signature is stored with the approval. Approved quotations convert into invoices, and several can be grouped as good, better and best alternatives.
Free allows 5 quotations a month. Pro and Business have no limit.

What it does
Most repair quotes are a phone call, which means there is no record of what was offered or what was agreed.
A quotation in Fixmo is a document with a validity date. The customer opens a link, sees the lines and the total, and approves or rejects it without an account.
Approval captures a signature and stores it on the document, along with the time. Rejection can carry a note saying why.
Quotations can be grouped. Send three versions of the same job as good, better and best, and the customer picks one instead of hearing three numbers on the phone.
Converting an approved quotation into an invoice is one step. Converting one that was never approved is possible too, and Fixmo records that it happened and who did it.

Questions
Does the customer need an account to approve a quote?
No. They open a link, read it, and approve or reject it there.
What are good, better and best?
Three quotations grouped together as alternatives for the same job, so the customer chooses between options rather than accepting or refusing one price.
Can I invoice a quote the customer never approved?
Yes, and Fixmo records that it was converted without approval and who did it. The override is allowed, it is just not silent.
Is the signature legally binding?
Fixmo stores the signature the customer drew and the time they approved. Whether that satisfies a particular jurisdiction is a question for your own legal advice.
