Repair activity log
Every repair carries a log of what happened to it. Fixmo records fifteen kinds of event, including stage changes, parts added and removed, payments, price edits, technician reassignment and notification sent. What each person sees depends on their role.
What it does
Arguments about a repair are usually arguments about memory. The log replaces memory.
It records the event, the person, and the time. A part removed at four o'clock by one technician and added back by another is two rows, not a mystery.
The log is filtered on the way out, not hidden in the page. A technician never receives payment or price rows from the server at all. A cashier never receives the row that says a passcode was updated.
Some rows are written by the shop and some by the system. A status change made by a person and one made by an automatic rule are both recorded, and you can tell them apart.

Questions
Can the log be edited or deleted?
No. Rows are written as events happen and are not editable from the app.
Does a technician know that rows are being hidden from them?
They see a log without money in it. The hidden rows are removed by the server before the page is built, so there is nothing on the page to inspect.
Is there a log for anything other than repairs?
Yes. Permission changes, price overrides and exchanges each keep their own record, and document edits keep an approval trail.
