Currencies and countries
Fixmo supports 145 currencies and 194 countries. Every supported country's own currency is in the list. Each currency carries its own symbol and its own number of decimal places, so a yen amount is not shown with two decimals it does not have.

What it does
Currency support usually means a symbol in front of a number with two decimal places. That is wrong for the yen, which has none, and for the Kuwaiti dinar, which has three.
Each currency here carries its code, its name, its symbol and its decimal places, and amounts are formatted with the right one.
There are fewer currencies than countries, and that is correct rather than a gap. Twenty five of the supported countries use the euro, seven use the West African CFA franc, six use the Central African CFA franc, six use the East Caribbean dollar, and seven use the US dollar. One entry covers all of them.
You are not tied to the currency of your country. A shop in Australia that genuinely bills in yen can pick the yen. The country you choose and the currency you charge in are two separate settings.
The currency is set per shop, and stored on documents as well, so a document keeps the currency it was issued in.
Country selection covers 194 countries and is used for addresses and phone number formats.

Questions
Can I bill in a different currency from my shop's?
Documents store the currency they were issued in. The shop has one working currency, and Fixmo does not convert between currencies.
Is my currency supported?
If your country is one of the 194 in the list, yes. Every supported country's own currency is in the catalogue, and there are 145 in total.
Why are there fewer currencies than countries?
Because currencies are shared. Twenty five supported countries use the euro, seven use the West African CFA franc, and six use the East Caribbean dollar. One entry serves all the countries that use it, so 145 currencies covers 194 countries with nothing missing.
Does choosing a country set my currency?
No. They are separate settings and you can pick any currency you like. An Australian shop that bills in yen can select the yen.
Is there a mobile app?
No. Fixmo runs in a browser on a phone, tablet or computer, so there is nothing to install or update.
