Dashboard at a Glance

The Dashboard is the first page you see after logging in. It provides a real-time snapshot of your repair shop's performance and activity. The layout adapts based on your role — Admins, Managers, and Cashiers see full financial data, while Technicians see a simplified view focused on their repairs.

Monthly Revenue Cards

Three revenue cards at the top show your current month's financial performance. Each card includes a sparkline chart displaying the trend over recent months. These cards are visible to Admin, Manager, and Cashier roles — hidden only from Technicians.

  • [Month] Revenue — combined income from repairs and sales, with total repair and sale counts for the current month
  • Repair Revenue — income from delivered repairs, with the number of repairs delivered this month
  • Sales Revenue — income from completed sales, with total sales count for the month
Note

Sparkline charts display up to 12 months of historical data so you can spot trends at a glance.

Repair Status Cards

Five status cards display the count of repairs at each stage of your workflow. Each card shows the count, a percentage bar relative to total active repairs, and links directly to the Repairs page filtered by that status.

  • New — repairs just received, awaiting diagnosis
  • In Progress — repairs actively being worked on (diagnosing, waiting for parts, or repairing)
  • Testing — repairs undergoing quality checks before completion
  • Ready — completed repairs waiting for customer pickup
  • Delivered — repairs that have been handed back to customers

Active Repairs List

The main content area shows your most recent active repairs. Each repair displays the customer initials, item name, current status badge, problem description, price, and repair code. Click any repair to open its full detail page. Use the 'View all' link to go to the complete repairs list.

The right sidebar contains contextual widgets that provide quick access to key information without leaving the dashboard.

  • Monthly Usage — progress bars showing repairs and sales used versus your plan's monthly limit
  • Today's Sales — transaction count and total revenue for the current day, with a link to the full sales page
  • All Time — lifetime totals for repairs created and repair revenue earned
  • Recent Customers — the latest customers added to your system, each clickable to view their full profile

What Each Role Sees on the Dashboard

The dashboard content adapts based on your role to show only the information relevant to your responsibilities.

  • Admin — full dashboard: revenue cards, all status cards, active repairs, today's sales, customers, usage, and all-time stats
  • Manager — same as Admin but scoped to their assigned branch's data
  • Technician — status cards, active repairs assigned to them, and all-time stats (no revenue cards, sales, or customer widgets)
  • Cashier — revenue cards, status cards, active repairs in their branch, today's sales, recent customers, usage, and all-time stats

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the Fixmo dashboard show?+
The Fixmo dashboard shows three monthly revenue cards (monthly total, repair, and sales revenue), five clickable repair status cards with counts and percentages, an active repairs list, today's sales summary, all-time totals, recent customers, and your plan's monthly usage limits.
Why can I not see revenue cards on my dashboard?+
Revenue cards are hidden from Technicians only. If you are logged in as a Technician, the revenue section is hidden. Admin, Manager, and Cashier roles can all see the revenue cards.
Can I click on the repair status cards?+
Yes. Each repair status card (New, In Progress, Testing, Ready, Delivered) is clickable and navigates to the Repairs page filtered by that status. This lets you quickly view all repairs at a specific stage.
What is the Monthly Usage section on the dashboard?+
Monthly Usage shows progress bars comparing your current month's repairs and sales against your plan's limits. For example, if you are on the Free plan with 10 repairs allowed and have used 7, the bar shows 7 of 10. When you reach the limit, you need to upgrade to continue.
