Make Fixmo Work Your Way

Fixmo offers several ways to customize your experience, from visual themes to keyboard shortcuts and navigation preferences. These tools help you work faster and stay focused on what matters most.

Switching Between Dark and Light Mode

Fixmo fully supports dark and light themes across every page, including printed documents and email previews. Your theme preference is saved in your browser and applies instantly without any page reload.

  1. 1Locate the theme toggle icon in the top header area — it shows a sun icon in dark mode and a moon icon in light mode.
  2. 2Click the icon to open a dropdown menu with three options: Light, Dark, and System.
  3. 3Select your preferred theme. The entire interface updates immediately.
  4. 4Your preference is saved and will persist when you return to Fixmo.
Tip

If your shop has uploaded separate light and dark logos in Settings > Shop, the sidebar logo switches automatically to match your current theme.

Global search is the fastest way to find anything in Fixmo. It searches across serial numbers, repairs, customers, and inventory items in real time as you type.

  1. 1Press Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) from any page to open the search modal.
  2. 2Alternatively, press the / (forward slash) key to open search.
  3. 3Start typing a repair code, customer name, serial number, or item name.
  4. 4Results appear instantly — click any result to navigate directly to it.
  5. 5Press Escape or click outside the modal to close it.
Note

Global search matches repair codes, customer names, phone numbers and emails, inventory item names, SKUs and categories, and serial numbers.

Viewing Notifications

  • Click the bell icon to view your notification list
  • Notifications include plan usage warnings and system announcements
  • The red badge count resets when you view your notifications

The sidebar is your main navigation hub in Fixmo. It shows only the tabs available for your role and adapts to your screen size.

  • Main tabs include: Dashboard, Repairs, Sales, Customers, Inventory, and more — depending on your role
  • Settings expands to reveal sub-pages: Shop, Billing, Email, Payment Methods, and others
  • Your shop logo and name appear at the top of the sidebar
  • On smaller screens, the sidebar collapses into a hamburger menu
