Accessing Print Preview
Every document in Fixmo can be printed or exported to PDF from the print preview page.
- Open any document from the Invoicing page.
- Click the 'Print' button in the action bar at the top of the document detail page.
- The print preview page opens, showing a full A4-sized preview of the document.
- A toolbar at the top provides a Back link, the document code, a template dropdown, and a Print button.
Choosing a Print Template
Fixmo offers three professionally designed print templates. Use the dropdown in the print toolbar to switch between them. The preview updates instantly.
- Classic, a traditional business document layout with a bold header showing your shop name and logo, a bordered 'Bill To' section, a full items table, notes and terms sections, footer text, and dual signature lines for authorized and customer signatures.
- Modern, a contemporary design with an accent color bar at the top, clean typography, labeled 'From' and 'Bill To' sections, and a minimalist items table. No signature lines, giving a professional digital-first appearance.
- Compact, a space-efficient layout that fits more content on a single page. The header and customer info are condensed into single lines. Ideal for documents with many line items.
Printing or Saving as PDF
Both printing and PDF export use your browser's native print functionality.
- Select your preferred template from the dropdown.
- Click the 'Print' button in the toolbar.
- Your browser's print dialog appears.
- To print: select your printer and click Print.
- To save as PDF: select 'Save as PDF' (or 'Microsoft Print to PDF') as the destination and click Save.
