AI Token Balance & Credits
How Tokens Work
Fixmo's AI assistant uses a token-based billing model. Tokens measure the amount of text processed in a conversation — both what you send (input tokens) and what the AI replies with (output tokens). The more complex or longer a conversation, the more tokens are consumed.
Tokens are shared across your entire shop. If five users all chat with the AI on the same day, they all draw from the same token pool.
Your 50,000 Free Token Grant
Every Fixmo shop receives a one-time grant of 50,000 free tokens the first time the AI assistant is used. This grant is applied automatically and is enough for hundreds of typical chat interactions. The grant is per shop — not per user account.
Checking Your Token Balance
Your current balance is visible in two places:
- AI chat panel — open the chat by clicking the AI icon; balance is shown at the top.
- Settings → AI Assistant — shows current balance and whether the free grant has been used.
What Happens When You Run Out
When your token balance reaches zero:
- New messages to the AI are blocked with an 'Insufficient tokens' notice.
- Your full conversation history is preserved — nothing is lost.
- Other dashboard features (repairs, inventory, POS, etc.) are completely unaffected.
- Purchase a credit package to restore access immediately.
Buying Credit Packages
Additional tokens are available for purchase via PayHere.
- 1Go to Settings → AI Assistant.
- 2Under 'Credit Packages', you will see available token bundles with their prices.
- 3Click 'Buy' next to the package you want.
- 4Complete payment via PayHere (supports major debit/credit cards).
- 5Tokens are credited to your shop's balance immediately after payment confirmation.
Packages vary in size and price. Larger packages offer a lower cost per token. Contact [email protected] if you need a custom volume arrangement.
Token Usage Ledger
Every token transaction — free grant, purchases, and consumption — is recorded in your shop's token ledger. This allows Fixmo to provide an accurate balance at all times. If you believe your balance is incorrect, contact [email protected] with your shop name and approximate date of the discrepancy.
