Finance Dashboard Overview
What the Finance Module Covers
The Finance module gives you a real-time view of your shop's financial health. It aggregates income from repairs and sales, tracks your operating expenses, calculates net income, and shows a unified feed of all transactions — all in one place. The Finance section has three pages: Dashboard, Payments, and Expenses.
Summary Cards
The top of the Finance dashboard shows five summary cards for the selected time period.
- Total Revenue — combined income from repair payments and completed sales, minus refunds
- Repair Revenue — income from repair job payments only
- Sales Revenue — income from completed POS and manual sales only
- Total Expenses — sum of all expense entries for the period
- Net Income — Total Revenue minus Total Expenses
Outstanding Repairs
Below the summary cards, the dashboard shows a section for unpaid repairs — repairs that have been delivered or are in progress but still have an outstanding balance. This helps you identify customers who still owe money and follow up promptly.
Payment Method Breakdown
The payment method breakdown shows how much revenue was collected through each payment method (Cash, Card, Bank Transfer, Online, and any custom methods you have configured). Each method is shown with its total amount and percentage share of total revenue. Click the link to configure your payment methods in Settings.
Recent Transactions
The transaction feed shows a unified, chronological list of all financial activity — income and outgoing payments together. The feed loads more entries as you scroll (infinite scroll). Each transaction shows:
- Type badge — Repair Payment, Sale Payment, Expense, Agent Commission, Agent Payout, or Supplier Payment
- Reference code — linked to the associated repair, sale, agent, or expense record
- Payment method and category (for expenses)
- Description and amount with timestamp
- Created by (the team member who logged the transaction)
Click any repair code or sale code in the transaction feed to jump directly to that record's detail page.
Filtering by Time Period
Use the period filter at the top of the Finance dashboard to focus on a specific time window. The four options are This Week, This Month, This Quarter, and This Year. All cards and the transaction feed update automatically when you change the filter.
