Searching Your Inventory
The search bar at the top of the inventory page lets you find items quickly by name, SKU, barcode, or category name. Search is debounced, results start updating after a short delay as you type.
- Click the search bar on the inventory page.
- Type at least 2 characters of the item name, SKU, barcode, or category name.
- Results update automatically as you type.
- Click any result row to expand it and see full item details.
Filtering by Category, Supplier & Usage Type
Filters narrow down the inventory list to show only items matching your criteria. All filters work together, combine them for precise results.

- Use the Supplier dropdown (visible when suppliers exist) to filter by supplier.
- Click the Usage Type tabs, All, Products, or Repair Parts, to filter by how items are used.
- All filters combine with the search bar. For example, search for 'screen' with Category set to 'iPhone Parts' to find only iPhone screens.
