Message History Overview

Fixmo logs every outbound WhatsApp message with full details for audit and troubleshooting. The message history is available in Settings > Messages (scroll down past the connection card and toggles).

What Is Logged

Each message record includes:

  • Recipient name and phone number
  • Message type: REPAIR_STATUS, SALE_RECEIPT, DOCUMENT, REFUND, or MANUAL
  • Full message body
  • Delivery status: SENT or FAILED
  • Meta message ID (for cross-referencing in Meta Business Manager)
  • Error message if delivery failed
  • Timestamp
  • Linked repair or sale (if applicable)

Status Meanings

  • SENT — Fixmo successfully submitted the message to Meta's API. Meta accepted it for delivery.
  • FAILED — Meta returned an error. The message was not delivered. Check the error details column for the reason.
Note

Fixmo currently tracks sent/failed at the API submission level. Delivery receipts (delivered, read) from the customer's device require a webhook configuration — contact support if you need delivery receipt tracking.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I see WhatsApp message history in Fixmo?+
Go to Settings > Messages and look for the Messages tab or scroll past the notification toggles. All outbound WhatsApp messages are listed with recipient, message body, type, and delivery status.
What does a failed WhatsApp message mean?+
A failed status means Meta's API returned an error when sending the message. Common causes: the customer's phone number is not on WhatsApp, the number format is incorrect (missing country code), or the 24-hour session window has expired for free-form messages. Check the error details column for the specific reason.
