Repair Settings Overview
The Repair Settings page contains two configuration sections: Advance Payment and Repair Item Types. These settings control how repairs are created and categorized across your shop. Only Admins can access this page.
Configuring Advance Payments

- Go to Settings > Repairs from the sidebar.
- Toggle the Advance Payment switch to enable this feature.
- Choose the required status: Optional (technician can skip) or Mandatory (must collect before saving).
- Choose the Payment Type: 'Fixed Amount' (a specific dollar amount) or 'Percentage of Estimate' (a percentage of the estimated repair cost).
- Set the default value (e.g., 500 for a fixed amount or 25 for 25%).
- Click 'Save Changes' to apply.
