Setting Up Your Shop Logos

Fixmo supports separate logos for light and dark themes so your branding looks great in both display modes. Logos appear in the sidebar, email headers, and printed documents such as invoices and repair receipts.

  1. 1Navigate to Settings > Shop from the sidebar.
  2. 2Scroll to the Logo section at the top of the page.
  3. 3Upload a Light Logo — this logo is displayed on light backgrounds (light mode). If no dark logo is set, it is also used for dark mode.
  4. 4Optionally upload a Dark Logo — this logo is displayed on dark backgrounds (dark mode). If not set, the light logo is used for both modes.
  5. 5Recommended format: PNG or SVG with a transparent background for the best results.
Tip

If you only have one logo, upload it as the Light Logo. The dark logo is optional — if not set, the light logo is used for both themes automatically.

Shop Name

Your shop name is the primary identity of your business in Fixmo. It appears on all customer-facing documents including invoices, receipts, email notifications, and the customer repair tracking page.

  1. 1In Settings > Shop, find the Shop Name field.
  2. 2Enter or update your business name.
  3. 3Click 'Save Changes' at the bottom of the section to apply.

Shop Code (Read-Only)

Your shop code is a unique identifier that was assigned during registration. It is used to generate all reference numbers for repairs, sales, and invoices across your account. The shop code cannot be modified after registration — this ensures all existing and future reference numbers remain consistent and traceable.

Shop Main Phone Number

The main phone number represents your primary business contact. It is displayed on invoices, receipts, and email notifications sent to customers.

  1. 1In Settings > Shop, find the Phone field.
  2. 2Select your country code from the dropdown (e.g. +94 for Sri Lanka, +1 for US).
  3. 3Enter your business phone number.
  4. 4Click 'Save Changes' to apply.

Currency Setup

The currency setting determines how all prices, totals, and financial figures are formatted throughout Fixmo — including repairs, sales, invoices, reports, and the POS.

  1. 1In Settings > Shop, find the Currency dropdown.
  2. 2Select your preferred currency from the list (e.g. USD, LKR, GBP, EUR).
  3. 3Click 'Save Changes' to apply. All existing and new prices will display in the selected currency format.

Shop Address

Your shop address appears on printed invoices, receipts, and email notifications. Fixmo uses separate fields for each part of the address to ensure clean formatting across all documents.

  1. 1In Settings > Shop, fill in the Street Address field with your street name and number (e.g. 123 Main Street).
  2. 2Enter the City (e.g. Los Angeles).
  3. 3Enter the State or Province (e.g. California).
  4. 4Enter the Postal or ZIP Code (e.g. 90001).
  5. 5Select your Country from the dropdown.
  6. 6Click 'Save Changes' to apply.
Tip

Enter each address part in its own field. Do not add commas — Fixmo formats the full address automatically when displaying it on documents.

Saving Shop Information

After updating any shop details — name, phone, address, currency, or logos — you must click the 'Save Changes' button at the bottom of the section for your changes to take effect. Unsaved changes will be lost if you navigate away from the page.

Adding and Managing Branches

Branches allow you to track repairs, sales, and inventory per location. Each branch operates with its own code, address, phone number, and assigned team members. The Branches section shows your current branch count and plan limit (e.g. 5/15).

  1. 1In Settings > Shop, scroll down to the Branches section.
  2. 2Click 'Add Branch' to open the branch creation dialog.
  3. 3Enter the Branch Name — a descriptive name for the location (e.g. 'Vancouver Branch').
  4. 4Enter the Code — a short 2-letter uppercase code used in reference numbers (e.g. 'KD').
  5. 5Enter the Street Address for the branch (e.g. '123 Main Street').
  6. 6Enter the City (e.g. 'Los Angeles').
  7. 7Enter the State / Province (e.g. 'California').
  8. 8Enter the Postal / ZIP Code (e.g. '90001').
  9. 9Enter the branch Phone number with country code selection (e.g. +94 2025551234).
  10. 10Click 'Create Branch' to save the new branch.
Note

Branch limits depend on your plan: Free and Pro plans include 1 branch. Business plan allows up to 15 branches.

Default Tax Rate

Fixmo lets you set a default tax rate that is applied to new inventory items and invoices. This saves you from manually entering tax on every item. You can also choose whether your prices already include tax or whether tax should be calculated on top.

  1. 1Scroll to the Default Tax section in Settings > Shop.
  2. 2Enter your tax rate as a percentage in the Tax Rate (%) field (e.g. 15 for 15%).
  3. 3Toggle the 'Tax inclusive' switch: ON means your listed prices already include tax, OFF means tax is added separately on top of the price.
  4. 4Click 'Save' to apply. The new tax rate will be used as the default for new inventory items and invoices.

Warranty Policy

The warranty policy is a text block that appears at the bottom of printed sale invoices for warranty-eligible products. Use this field to clearly communicate your warranty terms and conditions to customers.

  1. 1Scroll to the Warranty Policy section in Settings > Shop.
  2. 2Enter your warranty terms in the text area (e.g. '30-day warranty on all repairs. Water damage excluded. Original receipt required for claims.').
  3. 3Click 'Save' to apply. The warranty text will appear on printed sale invoices for warranty-eligible products.

Danger Zone — Wipe All Data

The Danger Zone section provides a way to permanently delete all operational data from your Fixmo shop. This is irreversible and should only be used if you want to completely start over. Your account and shop settings are preserved.

  1. 1Scroll to the very bottom of Settings > Shop to find the Danger Zone.
  2. 2Click 'Wipe All Data'.
  3. 3Type your shop name exactly as it appears to confirm you understand the consequences.
  4. 4Enter your account password as a second confirmation.
  5. 5Click 'I understand, wipe all data' to proceed.
Warning

This action permanently deletes all repairs, sales, customers, inventory items, categories, and team members. Your account and shop settings are preserved. It cannot be undone. Only the Admin can perform this action.
